FOOD PANTRY
Food Pantry Assistance provided to qualifying residents.
OPEN: MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, 10:30 A.M. -- 2:30 P.M.
- Serving residents of Goodlettsville (37072)
- with 3 full plus 3 partial food orders within a 6-month period.
- Serving residents of Millersville (37072) with 3 partial food orders within a 6-month period.
- Ready-to-eat food is provided to transient clients for a limited time period.
To obtain food service, a client must bring each visit:
their photo I.D., their Social Security card plus the Social Security cards of all household members,
a piece of mail current within 30 days that verifies their residency within the GHC service area.
ADDITIONAL CLIENT SERVICES (PROVIDED SOLELY BY GOODLETTSVILLE HELP CENTER)
Financial assistance provided to residents of Goodlettsville only.
PAST-DUE UTILITY ASSISTANCE
(Electric, natural gas/propane, kerosene, water bills only)
GHC provides up to $125.00 assistance annually—if the past-due amount is greater than $125.00, the client is responsible for paying the additional amount owed before GHC will commit any funds to the utility provider.
TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE
(Gas vouchers in partnership with local gas station)
GHC provides the client with a gas voucher that can be redeemed at a local gas station. The monetary amount of each gas voucher can vary according to funds available and the client’s particular need. Help is typically approved for doctor’s appointments, job interviews, or getting to work for gainfully employed clients. Maximum $75.00 assistance annually.
To obtain financial assistance of any kind a client must provide: their photo I.D., their Social Security card, a piece of mail current within 30 days that verifies their residency within the GHC service area, and income verification. Client must also be willing to provide verification of doctors appointments, job interviews, etc., if asked by management to do so.

(must show proof of taking and passing the exam)
EMPLOYMENT SEARCH ASSISTANCE
GHC's facility is made available to corporations for job fairs and interviewing.
